Protection and characterization of green zones as environmental infrastructural assets
The Green Infrastructure, beyond constituting a network of interconnected green spaces, fundamental for the conservation of biodiversity, reports a great number of environmental, social and economic derivatives of the multiple functions and ecosystem services provided by nature, such as water regulation, control of the erosion, water purification or the prevention of climate change, among others.
