On December 15, Fundación Banco Santander, Universidade de Santiago de Compostela and Fundación RIA carried out visits to different locations within the scope of the Laboratorio Ecosocial do Barbanza. They took the opportunity to follow up on the projects financed in the first phase, whose evaluation is part of a monitoring plan that includes periodic meetings and continuous support to the promoters of the initiatives by the local entities, USC and RIA.
In addition, the community of Baroña was visited, a successful case of multifunctional use by a community of common forests. The outing ended with a visit to other forest communities that have joined the second phase of the Barbanza Ecosocial Laboratory and to which support is provided in the planning of the exploitation and management of their territories.
